PostPal Help Center
The English PostPal Help Center explains how DTC and e-commerce brands use PostPal for automated postcard marketing, from campaigns and segments to API flows, vouchers and reporting.
Account and billing
Account setup, users, payment methods, invoices and access management in PostPal.
- Account The account is your workspace in PostPal and contains users, credit, integrations, segments, designs and campaigns.
- Account switching If you belong to multiple PostPal accounts, you can switch between them without signing in again.

API
REST API, API flows, logs, modes and processing states for technical PostPal setups.
- API access & tokens API tokens let you send campaign and postcard data to PostPal programmatically.
- API logs API logs show which programmatic requests PostPal received and how they were processed.
- API modes live & test API modes separate real shipping operations from test requests so you can validate integrations safely.
- REST endpoints v1 The REST API v1 accepts programmatic campaign and individual postcard requests.
Automation
Recurring mailings, runtime behavior, control groups and automated campaign logic.
- API Flow An API flow sends postcards automatically and repeatedly from entries you submit programmatically through the PostPal API.
- Billing by batch size API flows are billed by the batch size that is actually processed.
- Postcard-design requirement Every API flow needs a postcard design before it can produce mailings.
- Entry processing & batching API-flow entries are collected, evaluated and grouped into a mailing batch during the trigger window.
- Flow status The flow status controls whether an API flow actively processes entries or is paused.
- Trigger window The trigger window defines when an API flow processes collected entries into a batch.
Tracking and delivery
Delivery, attribution, reports and mailing states for postcard campaigns.
- Attribution Attribution assigns redemptions and revenue to a postcard mailing, usually within a 60-day window.
- Deutsche Post delivery After printing and handover to Deutsche Post, your mailing moves through dispatch, regional delivery and completion.
- QA & logistics Before printing, PostPal checks data, design and personalization so the mailing can be produced cleanly.
- Reports Reports show performance, revenue signals and campaign impact for your PostPal mailings and require a connected Shopify integration.
- Voucher redemption Voucher redemptions show which printed codes were used in the Shopify shop.
Campaigns
Campaign setup, quality assurance, shipping quantities and production approval.
- Automailing timeline The automailing timeline controls when continuous campaigns create new mailings.
- Campaign A campaign in PostPal combines segment, design, shipping schedule, material selection and an optional voucher into a ready-to-send mailing.
- One-time vs. continuous Campaigns either run once for an existing segment or continuously for new recipients as they join.
- Control groups Control groups help you measure how much additional revenue a postcard campaign actually creates.
- Mailing states The mailing state shows which step a mailing is in, from review to delivery.
- PDF approval flow Before printing, you review the final PDF and either approve it or decline it for correction.
Integrations
Shopify, Klaviyo and API integrations used to connect PostPal with customer data.
- CSV import & management Upload recipient addresses as a CSV file and manage your files centrally as the basis for segments.
- Klaviyo integration The Klaviyo integration connects your Klaviyo account with PostPal and is required for Klaviyo segments.
- Shopify integration Shopify is PostPal's voucher and discount integration and provides order and redemption data for reports.
Segments
CSV imports, Klaviyo segments and segment logic for direct mail audiences.
- CSV segmentation Build a recipient audience directly from an uploaded CSV address list.
- Klaviyo segment A Klaviyo segment uses a recipient list from your connected Klaviyo account as the audience for a PostPal campaign.
- Maximum shipment quantity Optionally limit how many recipients from a segment are included in each mailing.
- Segment A segment is the recipient audience for a campaign and comes from Klaviyo or a CSV import.
Designs
Design upload, format requirements, variables and the Postcard Studio.
- Formats & specifications Every postcard format has its own dimensions, bleed and address zones that your design must respect.
- Design guidelines Good postcard designs are clear, printable and leave enough room for the address, offer and call to action.
- Design upload & print specs Upload a finished print file for your postcard that matches the print specifications of the selected format.
- Variables & personalization Variables personalize every postcard individually, for example with a first name or personal voucher code.
- Postcard Studio Postcard Studio is the built-in editor for designing postcards directly in PostPal, including variables, QR codes and lines.
Vouchers
Voucher setup, redemption and discount configuration for postcard campaigns.
- Discount configuration The discount configuration defines which discount a Shopify voucher grants and what it applies to.
- Entitlement types Entitlement types define what a Shopify discount may apply to.
- Voucher codes Voucher codes connect your postcard with a measurable discount and make redemptions traceable by campaign.
