Flow status
An API flow is a draft, active or paused. A draft is still being set up, saves itself automatically and takes no requests. Active flows can process incoming entries during the trigger window and turn them into mailings. Paused flows keep their configuration but do not create new mailings until you activate them again.
The flow status shows whether an API flow is currently processing.
Draft means the flow is still being set up. PostPal saves it automatically, requests to it are rejected with 422, and it processes nothing until you finish it with “Flow erstellen”.
Active means the flow can collect entries during the trigger window and create mailings from them.
Paused means the configuration remains in place, but the flow does not create new mailings until you activate it again.
Use pause when you want to temporarily stop an integration without recreating the flow later.

How does a draft become an active flow?
With “Flow erstellen” at the end of the form. PostPal then checks every setting and starts the flow. A draft cannot be started through “Aktivieren” in the overview.
What happens when I pause a flow?
The flow remains configured but does not create new mailings until you activate it again.
Does pausing delete my configuration?
No. Design, settings and flow configuration remain in place.
Why can I not activate my flow again?
The current published price list must be able to price the selected design and its options. If the price list or a required option is missing, the flow remains paused until its configuration is available again.
