CSV import & management

CSV import brings your own recipient addresses into PostPal as a file. It is one of the two audience sources, alongside Klaviyo.

How to use it:

1. Upload your address list as a file in CSV management.
2. PostPal reads the recipients (source type csv).
3. Create a CSV audience from the file and use it in a campaign.

When you upload, you can optionally give the list a name (up to 120 characters). It then appears in CSV management, in the CSV audience and in your campaigns instead of the file name. Searching and sorting in CSV management use the name too. When you download the file, its original file name is kept. Before the upload, you check the mapping of the columns: PostPal matches them by their headers, and you can change any match.

You manage uploaded files centrally: download them for review or delete them when they are no longer needed. This keeps imported address lists transparent.

Clicking a file's name in CSV management opens its detail view. The top shows the row count, country, file size, the date under "Erstellt am" with its time, and the linked Klaviyo account. Below, the preview shows only the mapped columns by default, together with the field each one fills. The Columns menu shows all columns, only mapped columns or only unmapped columns; a dot on the button means a filter is active. Download sits next to the menu. The info icon next to Klaviyo explains when the Klaviyo profile ID is needed.
