Shopify integration

Shopify is used in PostPal as the voucher and discount integration. You connect your shop via OAuth, and PostPal can create individual redeemable discount codes for your postcards and attribute redemptions to the mailing. The connection is also required for reports and repeat-buyer insights because PostPal evaluates Shopify orders, revenue signals and voucher redemptions. Shopify is deliberately not a segment source; recipients come from Klaviyo or CSV.

The Shopify integration is PostPal's voucher and discount integration. You connect your shop once via OAuth in Integrations.

What the integration does:

  • It creates individual redeemable discount codes for postcards in your shop.
  • It attributes redemptions of those codes to the triggering mailing.
  • It provides order, revenue and redemption data for Reports and repeat-buyer insights.
  • It provides the basis for discount configuration and entitlement types.

Important: Shopify is not a segment source in PostPal. The old Shopify segment path is behind a feature toggle and is being discontinued. Recipient segments come from Klaviyo or CSV import.
